Directions

From the Bremerton Ferry Terminal:
The Museum is within walking distance of the Bremerton ferry landing.

  • From the Ferry Terminal turn right (north) onto Washington Avenue.
  • Turn left onto Fourth Street. The Museum is located next to the Roxy Theatre at 280 Fourth Street, about 2/3 of the way down the block, on the right. Look for the big green and gold street clock. You will see the banner and MUSEUM sign on the building.

From the North:
If you are arriving via the Kingston Ferry-

  • Exit the ferry and follow Highway 307 to Poulsbo
  • At the stop light at Bond Road & Highway 305, turn right. Follow the signs to Bremerton.
  • Enter Highway 3 south to Bremerton.
  • Exit at Kitsap Way and turn left at the light at the bottom of the off ramp. Kitsap Way makes several turns and eventually becomes Sixth Street. Follow Sixth Street until you reach Washington Avenue at the waterfront.
  • Turn right onto Washington Avenue and stay in the right lane. Turn right on Fourth Street. The Museum is located next to the Roxy Theatre at 280 Fourth Street, about 2/3 of the way down the block, on the right. Look for the big green and gold street clock. From the Bainbridge Island Ferry:

  • Exit the ferry and follow Highway 305 to Poulsbo. When Highway 305 intersects with Highway 3 follow the signs to Bremerton.

 Parking

Street parking is often available within a few blocks of the Museum. Parking spots vary from 15 minutes to three hours. Check posted signs and the time carefully. The City of Bremerton parking garage is located on the corner of Fourth Street and Washington Avenue, one-half block from the Museum. All day parking is $6.00.
